Just stumbled across your lovely blog! I too did a no shopping challenge that I was kinda, sorta successful at. It was SO hard! And, of course, it was during my challenge that I was bombarded with cute clothes after cute clothes that I was just itching to get my fingers on. But my bank account was happy. :)
