I've been wanting to use mason jars for some sort of DIY for some time now and finally got around to it! I made a soap dispenser for my kitchen and created a flower arrangement for the home!

Now, let's get to the good part: how you can DIY!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Mason Jar w/ lid (I bought a 12 pack from Fred Meyer for $11.99)
- Super Glue
- Soap Dispenser
- Liquid soap or dish washing detergent (your preference)
- A drill and a drill bit to make a hole large enough for the soap dispenser

HOW TO DO IT YOURSELF
With a sharp object, mark the center of the lid where you are going to be drilling a hole:

Use a drill gun to create a hole large enough for the soap dispenser tube you are using:

Grab some super glue and glue the dispenser to the lid and set aside to dry thoroughly:

While you are waiting for the super glue to dry, fill the mason jar with liquid soap/dish washing detergent:

Once the glue has dried put the lid back on and your done!! You now have a fabulous new soap dispenser!

Pretty Flower Arrangement
Since I bought so many mason jars, I decided to make a flower arrangement and here are the results:

I love all recycling projects ... and this is great because I have kept several bottles of styling cream that comes with this system so I'm going to find a glass bottle and to make my soap dispenser now.

Great DIY projects! I love, love, love mason jars and have them all over my house. In fact, I often use them as vases for inexpensive grocery store bouquets. I just think they're so simple and pretty.

What an amazing idea, it looks so lovely!
I really love the idea of putting the lemons and flowers in the mason jar. I was wondering how long the lemons remained yellow and if the acidity affected the flowers? I would like to do something similaras a wedding centerpiece, but wasn't sure if they could be made the night before or not? Thanks! :)
Hey!! You can certainly make this the night before:) my flowers lasted about 3 days without looking old or wilted and the lemons were just fine!! It would be super easy and low maintenance for a wedding!! <3 Denise
