Christmas DIY - All Things New Sundays

I had a couple of empty wine glasses and decided to do a DIY project with them. Here are two ways you can reuse those empty bottles!

DIY Festive Christmas Decor:

YOU WILL NEED:

Bottle #1
Since this bottle was clear, I painted it with chalkboard paint. You will need to do two layers of chalkboard paint because as you can see below, the first layer goes on very thin:

After I did the second coat of chalkboard paint and it was dry, I took some rope string and tied it around the neck of the bottle. I added some jingle bells to give it an extra festive look. I also added Christmas berries as the arrangement:

Lastly, I wrote NOEL up the side to complete the look:

Bottle #2
I liked the dark green color glass of this bottle so I decided to simply just wrap the same rope string and bells around the neck and also add some Christmas berries

This was a simple, easy, and cheap DIY project! I hope you are inspired to create something new this week!

great idea especially love the detail of the bells, I have two small bottles recycled soda water I use on my face after makeup right for the same thing but I will use my makeup table with a style of white Christmas: D

Love it! My husband brews his own beer so we always have empty beer bottles in the house and I have put flowers in a few around our place too--bottles make such cute vases!
