My husband and I are excited to share some awesome news with you: after a year of house hunting we finally bought a house! We found the home of our dreams about 2 months ago, put an offer on it and the rest is history!
The home was built in 1940 and is an English Tudor style home located in the beautiful historic Laurelhurst neighborhood of Portland, OR. It is only 3 miles out of downtown Portland, walking distance to hip restaurants and shops, and only a few blocks from gorgeous Laurelhurst Park.
I am already brainstorming all sorts of ideas for our new home and I can't wait to begin decorating! I am also excited to share my decorating and DIY projects with you as I go.. stay tuned!

Although you didn't buy the house next door to us, I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! It took us a year to find a house and it's not even our dream house so I am so happy that the search is over for you and you'll have a place to rest and call home! I can't wait to see pictures! I love that neighborhood!

Love the mid century inspiration behind a lot of the design and decor in these photos! Some of my fav interior decorating of all time comes from that period :)
