We are having a baby!

It's no secret anymore that my husband and I are expecting our first baby this September 2013!
After much anticipation, prayers and waiting....we are so excited to finally be expecting!

I'm 12 weeks along and the baby is currently about the size of a lime.
I'm not showing quite yet although my jeans are starting to feel a little snug around the waste!
I'm actually really looking forward to having a growing belly!
I haven't been feeling very well. I don't throw up but I'm super nauseated and extremely tired; which is usually expected!
{This is why I have not been posting as regularly}

As many of you know from my previous posts, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost two years! Around October 2012 I started seeing a fertility specialist. My husband and I had a bunch of tests done, all of which came back normal. Basically the doctors did not have an explanation as to why we weren't getting pregnant.
Since we are both healthy my doctor thought I would be a good candidate for Chlomid.
Basically this is a pill that helps increase fertility and your chances of conceiving.
I was supposed to start these treatments on January 24th but had a positive pregnancy test just a week before that!
I was almost in unbelief. I was all ready to start the treatments and hope for the best so I had stopped really thinking I'd get pregnant on my own.
Let's just say it was the best surprise ever!
I waited until my husband came home from work to tell him and I'll never forget how exciting of a day this was for both of us!

I'm almost in the 2nd trimester and I am hoping this nausea will go away and that my energy will come back!
We've been brainstorming ideas for the babies nursery and will be beginning the remodel hopefully in the next month or so!
We have so much to look forward to!
We are so thankful and so blessed!
You will be seeing lots of updates on my pregnancy and I will post updates of the nursery once it starts to come together!

Here is our 8 week ultrasound. So tiny!!
I have my next appointment on March 12th and we are excited to see how much the baby has grown!

We can't wait to meet our little baby!
What a beautiful gift from heaven....
Thanks for sharing in our joy!!
xo, Denise
