Charlie's Nursery Tour

I've been getting a few e-mails here and there with readers asking where I have been all these months and if I plan on blogging anymore.

The answer is...
 Yes!

I have just been really busy with other projects like my Etsy shop and taking care of my almost two (time flies!) year old son.

I'm still here and I will try to be better about updating my blog!

Back in April 2013 (wow I am waaaay late!) I posted about our complete upstairs remodel here and promised to share the finished result.
Better late than never!

When we bought our house, this room was dark and gloomy. It had one tiny window and only one small ceiling light.
My goal for the nursery was to brighten it up and make it more inviting.
We installed a larger window, can lights all across the ceiling, painted the room with a light color, and added a soft light colored carpet.
The room immediately became brighter and more inviting.

Quite the difference from this dark, gloomy before picture:

As for the decor, I love bright colors, mixing different styles and there always has to be a touch of vintage.
Charlie loves his nursery. We spend lots of hours playing, wrestling and just hanging out as a family in this little room.

Thanks for stopping by and touring Charlie's nursery!
I will try to do an update of the master bedroom and bathroom area soon!

 Happy Weekend!
